DIY Pin the Tail on my Daddy game

As you know we just had a milestone first birthday for my little one and I decided to take on the task of doing most (read all) of the party myself, food and decorations included. Being that my daughter is still too young to enjoy games, I wanted to have a game that was inspired by a kids game but that adults could enjoy and thats when it hit me...pin the tail on my daddy!

To have this fun game at your next party you will need a dad who is willing to be a fool for the sake of a good laugh. Next add text to the image using photoshop or picmonkey. Once you are happy with how your image looks save it to the highest resolution you can and get it printed at your local staples as a blueprint which is only $1.97!!!

If you decided to make one, please link it back to this post so that I can see your creative ideas!!!

DIY First Birthday!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am awesome at starting projects but completing them...not so much. This year I chose my one little word to be complete. Since doing so I have been following through with every (ok almost every) single project I have started. It does feel good to complete things and with little Foof's birthday fast approaching I have taken on the task of doing most of her birthday party stuff on my own. I thought that it would be overwhelming but it has been awesome and so much fun.

Her birthday party is on Saturday and things are coming along great. I wanted to share with you an idea that I had for the party favors using old baby food jars. I started saving her baby food jars thinking that they were just too cute to just throw away and I am so glad I didn't because there were super inexpensive to make and really easy.

Super easy! Tomorrow will share a cute banner using left over yarn and fabric!!!
